A few weeks ago, we came across Jacob Battersby's videos about his dog Oscar. Jacob had spent years documenting the dream of travelling the world with Oscar — the kind of slow, open-road life most dog owners quietly daydream about. Then, last week, Oscar was put to sleep. The plan they'd been building towards for years ended in the only way these plans ever do.
We reached out. And what started as a conversation became something bigger than either of us expected.

At around 30km up, the balloon bursts, the payload begins its descent, and Oscar's ashes are released across the planet he never quite got to see.

Why a ZoomiTag Is Going With Him
