Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Zoomi website, products, and services operated by Accelevate UK Ltd (trading as Zoomi). By accessing our website, creating an account, or purchasing a product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement to Terms

By using our website or purchasing any Zoomi product, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and that you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.

2. Products and Services

ZoomiTag

A smart pet tag with built-in NFC, QR, and cellular GPS. ZoomiTag is sold as a one-time hardware purchase at £44.99 and is paired with an annual subscription at £49 per year that powers the live GPS tracking, the digital pet profile, and the activity and wellness features in the Zoomi app. The subscription is required to activate the connected features and is billed annually.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of our services, you must create a Zoomi account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Maintain only one account per person. Creating multiple accounts may result in suspension or termination.
  • Notify us immediately at hello@zoomitag.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Orders and Payments

All prices on our website are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By placing an order, you confirm that the payment method you are using is your own or that you have authorisation to use it. Once your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation with your order details. Please check this confirmation carefully and contact us if anything is incorrect.

Orders are subject to availability. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you and issue a full refund.

5. Subscriptions

ZoomiTag requires an active annual subscription at £49 per year to access live GPS tracking, activity and wellness features, and the full Zoomi app experience. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@zoomitag.com. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to subscription features until the end of your current billing period. Your ZoomiTag will continue to function as a standard identification tag, with NFC and QR scan and the digital pet profile remaining accessible.

Refunds on Cancellation

If you cancel within 14 days of your subscription starting or renewing, you are entitled to a full refund of that billing period's fee, provided you have not extensively used the connected features during that period. Refunds after the 14-day window are not available for partially used subscription periods.

6. Delivery

We currently ship to addresses within the United Kingdom. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and typically range from 3 to 5 working days, though we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates.

Risk of loss or damage to the product passes to you upon delivery to the address you specified. If your order has not arrived within 10 working days, please contact us and we will investigate.

7. Returns and Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all ZoomiTag hardware purchases. To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
  • The tag must be in its original condition, undamaged, and with all original packaging.
  • You must contact us at hello@zoomitag.com to initiate the return and receive a return address.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 14 days. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or was sent in error.

8. Warranty

All ZoomiTag products come with a 12-month manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

What Is Covered

Manufacturing defects, faulty NFC chips, premature deterioration of the tag under normal use conditions, and any defects that prevent the tag from functioning as intended.

What Is Not Covered

Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, exposure to extreme conditions beyond the tag's specifications, unauthorised modifications or tampering, normal wear and tear, and loss or theft of the tag.

9. Pet Profiles

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the information you add to your pet's profile. By creating a pet profile, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information about your pet.
  • Not upload content that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Not include any illegal content or content that infringes the rights of others.
  • Keep your pet's profile information up to date.

We reserve the right to remove any pet profile content that violates these guidelines without prior notice.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Zoomi website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Accelevate UK Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. "Zoomi" and "ZoomiTag" are trademarks of Accelevate UK Ltd.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our website without our prior written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

Please note the following important limitations:

  • Not a substitute for microchipping: ZoomiTag is a supplementary identification tool. In the United Kingdom, microchipping is a legal requirement for dogs. ZoomiTag does not replace a microchip and should be used alongside one.
  • Not medical advice: ZoomiTag's activity and wellness features provide general wellness information and are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for your pet's health concerns.
  • Reasonable care: While we take reasonable care to ensure our products and services function correctly, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our products or services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
