Build your pet's profile
Your pet's profile is the heart of ZoomiTag. It's what a finder sees when they scan the tag, so the more complete it is, the more useful every scan becomes.
What you can add
- Basics — name (required), type (Dog, Cat, Rabbit, Bird or Other), breed, date of birth, and weight in kg.
- Photos — a square pet photo and a wide cover image, with a slider to set the cover's vertical position.
- Contacts — your name and phone, an emergency contact, and your vet's details.
- Medical & care — health notes, important instructions, care & routine, and food & diet (all free-text).
- Badges — quick tags like Friendly, Nervous, Allergy or Medication that finders see at a glance.
Only the name is required. Everything else is optional, but a phone number and a clear photo do most of the work in getting your pet home.
There's no separate microchip field — note your chip number under Health notes if you'd like it on the profile.
Build it in the app
- Open the Zoomi app and add a new pet.
- Fill in the basics, add a photo, then your contacts, care notes and badges.
- Choose which sections finders can see (see Privacy and visibility).
- Assign a tag — tap Assign, then scan the QR on your ZoomiTag, or pick one of your claimed tags from the list.
Use Preview public profile in the editor to see exactly what a finder will see before you share it.
You can edit on iOS or in your browser at zoomitag.com — they share the same profile, so a change in one shows up in the other.
Update it any time
Update your pet's details whenever you like. Changes appear instantly the next time the tag is scanned — a real advantage over engraved tags that go out of date the moment your number or address changes.
