Wellness trends and the daily brief

PawanPawan · Updated 28 June 2026

ZoomiTag Health doesn't just log numbers — it rolls your pet's daily activity and rest into a wellness score, a plain-English daily brief, and trends so you can understand their normal baseline and notice changes early. It needs a ZoomiTag Health tag with an active subscription.

The wellness score

At the top of the Health screen is a single 0–100 wellness ring. It blends three things into one number: how much of the day's activity goal your pet hit, how well they rested, and a recovery measure that weighs yesterday's effort against last night's rest. Green is good, amber is middling, coral is low.

Because it leans on the day before, the wellness score needs a couple of days of data before it settles — one day to build on, one to compare against.

The daily brief

Tap through for the daily brief — a personalised summary of your pet's day. Depending on the time and the data, it can include:

  • A headline and how today compares to yesterday
  • A right now state (active, resting or calm)
  • Suggestions for the rest of the day, like a walk or some wind-down time
  • A timeline of the day so far
  • Sleep and energy & recovery summaries
  • How today stacks up against your pet's usual baseline

It's there to help you understand your pet's routine — not to diagnose anything.

The wellness score and daily brief are wellbeing guidance, not medical advice. If something looks off, the figures are a useful thing to show your vet, but they're not a substitute for a check-up.

Trends and streaks

The trend screens chart activity, sleep and recovery over time, so a gradual drift — a slow drop in activity, or worse rest — is easier to catch than it would be day to day. You'll also build a streak for each day the tag records data, which is a simple nudge to keep the tag on consistently.

Leave the tag on your pet consistently. The more continuous the data, the clearer the trends — and the more confidently you can tell a normal off-day from something worth a closer look.

The first couple of days

The first raw data arrives within minutes, but the insights build up: activity and sleep need around 24 hours for a full day, and the wellness score and recovery need about two days. Live GPS is the exception — it starts working soon after activation, not after a day. See Activity and steps and Sleep tracking for what feeds into the trends.
