Collar fit
Check the tag sits flat against the collar and doesn't dangle where it could snag. The split ring or silicone mount should be secure but not over-tightened. Recheck the attachment weekly, especially for active dogs.
Avoiding damage
ZoomiTag is durable, but don't let your pet chew on it. Remove the tag before rough play sessions or if your pet is an aggressive chewer. The NFC chip and QR code are protected, not indestructible.
Battery and charging
Up to 14 days on a charge
ZoomiTag's GPS and sensors run on a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 14 days on a single charge. The tag adapts its update frequency to balance live tracking with battery life, so you're never caught with a dead device.
Magnetic charging, ~90 minutes
Charge with the included magnetic cable — a full charge takes about 90 minutes. You'll get a low-battery notification at 15%. NFC and QR scan keep working regardless of charge state, so your pet's digital profile is always findable.

- Battery life has dropped significantly below 7 days
